The best men's trench coats of the season

A man’s trеnch coat is not only the main wardrobe item for Spring, but also universal for all times and occasions.

We made a selection of the most fashionable men's trench coats this season.

A significant year in the history of men's trench coats is considered to be the year 1879, when Thomas Burberry invented gabardine - heavy-duty, waterproof, but at the same time "breathing" material.  Gabardine was ideally suited for sewing outerwear, and in 1888 its production technology was patented. Thus, without knowing it, Burberry introduced a dying fashion for trench coats. 

The revolutionary models of men's trench coats of the new wave were imprinted in the collections of Bottega Veneta, Jil Sander, Lucy and Luke Mayers.

Since that time, a cotton cloak has become almost the main subject of a classic men's wardrobe.

Ivory, milk-colored trench

This season, one of the top will be ivory and milk-colored trench coats. It was these shades that were the models from the latest catwalks of fashion designers.

The most interesting models can be found in the latest collections of Dior Men, Lemaire and Raf Simons. 

Bright print lining

Pastel-colored trench coats with a lining in a cage, strip or bright print are also in fashion.

Tips for choosing a trench:

Trench should be selected so that it can be put on a jacket or a thick sweater. It is best to take the trench coat a little more freely so that it does not hamper the movement and dress easily and not with difficulty put on a jacket. 

Trench is a Spring-Autumn thing, so you should not wear it with Summer shoes - boat shoes, sandals or white suede shoes. 

Of course, the trench will save you from the rain. But there aren't enough abilities to save your hair though. Therefore, do not exclude a hat or umbrella from the list of possible accessories for a trench coat.
