MET GALA 2021, the countdown starts!

Known as the "biggest fashion event", the Met Gala is finally coming back.

As you might already know, the Met Gala is a yearly fundraising event, organized by Anna Wintour, that marks the opening of the Costume Institute's annual fashion exhibit. Every year a theme is chosen and attendees are required to dress accordingly which gives an opportunity for fashion designers to show their talents.

This year's theme is on American Fashion and sets to explore the contemporary definition of American fashion. For the first time, the theme will be presented into a two-part exhibition on September 18, 2021 and May 5, 2022. The first will present styles and designers that defined american fashion and the second will celebrate the Costume Institute's 75th anniversary.

Alongside Anna Wintour, the young leading names in cinema, music, sports and culture, Tomothée Chalamet, Billie Eilish, Naomi Osaka and Amanda Gorman have been chosen as co-hosts of the evening. The big question however is who are this year's attendees?
