Macy's launches NFT in Celebration of their 95th Thanksgiving Day Parade

In celebration of its 95th Thanksgiving Day Parade, Macy's will launch a series of limited edition NFT and 9500 free artworks in partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The NFTs are launched in two phases. First, through an auction, 10 unique collectibles featuring Macy's parade iconic archives, such as giant balloons dating from the 1920s to today. The auction started at midnight on November 19th and will go through November 30.  

For the second phase, The 9500 NFTs will be released during the parade, on the 25th at 10:00 AM ET on Thanksgiving day, with all proceeds going to charity. The free NFTs can be claimed on a first-come, first-served basis. Once claimed, fans can also have the opportunity to enter a sweepstakes and win 10 000 dollars. 10% of any resales will be donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The NFTs are "carbon-neutral" and designed by REOMETRY, a digital agency by artists REO and Seth Brown.
