The coldest time of the year has arrived and with it the opportunity to take our best winter clothes out of the closet.

Wearing fur coats and jackets seems to be one of the rituals that year after year is repeated, but there's still something else and yes, we need to talk about accessories, those little or great things that bring to life an outfit, those objects that make a difference. 

Gloves! perhaps the least expected trend but one of the most elegant for this fall. Long Gloves, short, with different colors and leather gloves, we saw them in the parades of brands such as Gucci, Valentino, Saint Laurent, and Dries Van Noten.

Long gloves are one of the oldest accessories in fashion history, were imposed by Catherine of Medici within the Italian socialite, and were a symbol of status. 

They're back as one of the most eye-catching trends for this fall.
