From Moschino's little comma to Anteprima's lightning bolt to the blurred or graphic browns of Max Mara and Emporio Armani.

The makeup trends of day 2 of Milan Fashion Week teach us to pay attention to the look. The first, most obvious and encouraging lesson comes from the Prada Fall Winter 2023/2024 fashion show and the eye makeup designed by Pat McGrath: with maxi colored lashes appearing like fluffy butterfly wings, placed on the upper lashline. But during the day, there was a succession of shows and backstages that bring the eyes to the center of beauty looks, in the most diverse versions. Here are the eye makeup trends for Fall Winter 2023/2024.

The evolutions of the cat eye

The micro eye makeup trend focused on revisiting the classic cat eye had already been talked about. The feline makeup, loved by Italian movie divas, is one of the most applied techniques of the moment. Parallel to the classic version of the cat eye are new stylistic interpretations. The Anteprima Fall Winter 2023/2024 fashion show transforms the tip at the sides of the eyes into a more articulated design. Which takes on the appearance of an arrow or a thunderbolt, depending on the point of observation.

The Moschino Fall Winter 2023/2024 fashion show encapsulates punk charm and Salvador Dali-like surrealism. Backstage, the classic cat eye tapers and curves slightly upward. It leaves the upper ciliary rim of the eyes free to focus its stroke only on the outer areas of the eyes. The make-up was created by Kabuki, the fashion show's makeup artist, for Mac Cosmetics.

Warm brown tones in a shaded and graphic version.

Revealing warmth and luminosity at first glance, the eye makeup created by Max Mara for the Fall Winter 2023/2024 fashion show. Thanks to a diffused powder, in light shades of brown and terracotta, that spreads over the upper eyelids until it touches the arch of the eyebrows.

The brown hue takes on a more graphic and triangular shape, involving the inner corner to the eye, for the Emporio Armani Fall Winter 2023/2024 fashion show. Backstage, Linda Cantello, Giorgio Armani International Make-up Artist, translated the brand's sophisticated minimalism into makeup that plays with warm tones. And it focuses in a soft squared line created in the hollow, with Smooth Silk Eye Pencil in brown shade #12.
