White tank top

There is no doubt about it: under the heading "must-have" in the fall, the white tank top cannot be missed. The most basic wardrobe item - until now relegated to the underwear drawer or at most to the casual wear door - is the glam piece to wear day & night.

Colored socks

After being spotted wearing them by the coolest it girls, colored stockings have made their official entrance on the catwalk. Warm and super trendy, they are the style ally you can count on to get your fill of good mood and positivity even on the gloomiest days. Light blue, red, fuchsia, and even flowers, geometrics and animal prints: the declinations are many and all different, but they have one common denominator: dare!

Corset

From TikTok to catwalks, from red carpets to TV series, the corset continues - and will continue - to be on the crest of the fashion wave. Let's be clear: the new bustier tops have nothing to do with the whalebone slats and constrictions of yesteryear, quite the contrary. The new versions are much more comfortable and can be flaunted in the most diverse ways: under a dress or shirt for example, to play with volumes and enliven the silhouette, or together with rigorous pants and pencil skirts, to downplay more formal outfits.

Tie

Fashion-we know-is constantly playing with genres, and the return of the tie only reiterates this once again. The 2022-23 collections feature it in a wide variety of looks, from yuppie-style suits to eclectic intellectual outfits. Noteworthy are the interpretations by Gucci and Louis Vuitton, but also that of Sportmax, which focused on a rigorous total black toned down just by the tie - chosen in a bright red tone - and a pair of animalier boots.

Maxi cardigan

Oversized cut, sloping shoulders and contrasting buttons: this is the identikit of the star cardigan of Fall Winter 2022-23 knitwear. A formidable joker, it works for any occasion and can be worn with jeans as well as with a long dress. Practical and cozy enough, this fall we will also wear it "skin-tight"-almost like a mini-dress- squeezed at the waist by the classic black belt and paired with heavy socks and pumps.

Total pink

Think pink! This would seem to be the new fashion imperative. From fuchsia to chewing gum, from powder to highlighter tones, pink will be the color to bet everything on. A safe choice to elevate suits, turtlenecks, dresses and outerwear. Word of Pierpaolo Piccioli, who for Valentino's latest ready-to-wear collection-not coincidentally titled Pink PP-has used this color almost exclusively. The most beautiful piece? Hard to choose. Among those on our dream list is definitely the maxi coat with slits and side bows.

Off the shoulders

Hovering between romanticism and sexyness, the off-the-shoulder trend doesn't hint at disappearing from the radar in the slightest and finds its ideal size in day and evening dresses. Midi or long, soft or tight, with lapels or contrasting sleeves, they are worn leaving the shoulders bare or over a classic white shirt. The most interesting models? Those in wool or colored mohair.

Paint

A hint of the 60s, a touch of fetish and just enough boldness: these are the ingredients behind what-we are sure-will soon become our new fashion obsession. It's hard to remain immune to the allure of this ultra bright texture, especially after seeing it declined on pants, knee-length skirts and jumpsuits. The secret to flaunting this trend at its best? Avoid excess. One patent leather piece at a time will be enough to give even the simplest look a different twist.

Balaclava

The accessory with a capital A for winter 2022-23? It is undoubtedly the balaclava! The knitted headdress that went viral on social last winter will continue to be at the center of our fashion desires. The knitted and colorful models we have seen so far are now joined by shaved wool proposals in neutral hues perfect to sport at any time of the day and on any occasion.

Boots over the knees

During the last fashion month we had seen them just about everywhere. From the most emblazoned maisons to emerging designers, there was no brand that didn't bring at least one pair of cuissardes to the runway. High above the knee or mid-thigh, with comfortable heel and tapered toe, they are the boots to invest in to face with the right foot - and style - the first rigors of winter.
