Denim overalls: How to wear and style them
It seems that jeans overalls at all times had their star fans: model Lauren Hutton wore it in the 1970s, Gwen Stefani in the 2000s, and now Bella Hadid and Kylie Jenner pose for the street style photographers in the denim overalls too. We talk about the pluses of this clothing and show what kind of overalls are now at the peak of popularity.
Despite the rich history, overalls became truly fashionable only half a century ago. Comfortable solid suits made of a dense material were popular back in the Middle Ages — they were worn by circus performers and scientists. In the XIX century, the jumpsuit was a working uniform for gold prospectors, farmers and even cowboys, and in the Second World War — aviators and military. Overalls appeared on the catwalks in the 1960s thanks to Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Cardin.
Denim overalls are an eternal trend and a thing for all seasons: in winter it gives an extra layer of clothing (especially if you put on a warm turtleneck or sweater), and in summer it is not cold and not hot.
Celebrities often wear denim overalls in classic blue and experiment with bright colors. We recommend trying it on pink, yellow and snow-white — they promise to be a hit of the next Fall.
